The recent record-breaking heatwave and devastating fires in our region have amplified the urgency of building the noise locally for our parliamentarians to act transparently, urgently and fearlessly on pressuring the fossil fuel industry. We need to find ways to flush out the people who agree with us but haven't realised it needs People Power and not just individual action for change to happen. How will we do this?
And we need to monitor the way the new Nature Laws are enacted this year, and raise awareness of the impact of the fires and heat on our wildlife which are a consequence of climate change.
