This will be the first group meeting of ACF Boroondara since the federal election, and everyone is welcome!
Over a cup of tea and biscuits, we will discuss our priorities and actions for the remainder of the year and invite your thoughts and suggestions.
We'd love any 'new' supporters, who volunteered during the federal election campaign, to come along and become part of the core group of active members, but no prior experience is necessary.
ACF remains focussed on Australia legislating effective new nature laws and planning its exit from fossil fuel extraction and exports, while accelerating its shift to clean renewable energy in ways that enhance rather than damage nature. As we've seen with the recent provisional approval to extend the NorthWest Shelf project out to 2070, we have a lot of work to do, but we try to have some fun while we do it, and we all benefit from being with other like-minded nature lovers.
