ACF Central Victoria August 2023 Fryers Ridge Walk

Join us for a loop walk, following the Coliban Main Channel for part of the way and enjoying the bushland within Fryers Ridge Nature Conservation Reserve on the return.  The meeting point is about 45 minutes from central Bendigo by car and about 20 minutes from Castlemaine.  You will need to register to find out exactly where we will meet and start our walk.

We will walk a little over 7 km, taking about 2 hours. The first part, the track beside the Channel, is quite flat and the return is only moderately challenging, with some uphill sections.  The forest tracks are well-formed but may be wet and slippery in places, so sturdy footwear is important.  Also, please wear suitable clothing, bring drinking water and snacks, and protect yourself from the elements.

Please RSVP here so we know who is coming.  You will get an email confirming your booking, with details of the specific starting point.  (Email’s Subject: RSVP Confirmation ACF Central Victoria August 2023 Fryers Ridge Walk from ACF [email protected])

Friends, family and community members are welcome, but each person needs to register individually.

If this is your first time to walk with us, please text Jill on 0419353116 with your name and mobile number.  Then, if you're running late, you can be called.

Hope to see you there :-)
