Join us for a hilly loop walk near Strathfieldsaye, in the Greater Bendigo National Park. The walk area is known for its wildflower displays, so let's hope that the Spring flowers will begin to appear in the coming week!
The meeting point is about 3 minutes' drive from Strathfieldsaye, 11 minutes from central Bendigo, 35 minutes from Castlemaine and 50 minutes from Kyneton. You will need to register to find out exactly where we will meet and start our walk.
We will walk about 5.2 km and expect to finish within 2 hours. The walk is on a well-formed gravel road and a series of well defined, but erosion-damaged, tracks. There are some moderate climbs and descents. Please wear sturdy supportive footwear and suitable clothing, bring your walking poles, drinking water and snacks, and protect yourself from the elements.
