Join us for a there and back walk through the historic Victorian Goldfields Railway reserve between Muckleford Station and Pipeline Track near Maldon, and enjoy some varied scenery and a great wildflower display in the bushland reserve.
The meeting point is the carpark at the Muckleford Station, about 38 kms from central Bendigo and 10 kms from Castlemaine. You will need to register to find out exactly where we will meet and start our walk. The location on this event page is not accurate.
We will walk about 6.8 kms and expect to finish in 2.5 hours. The route is on well made mainly flat gravel and sandy tracks with very little uneven ground. Please wear sturdy supportive footwear and suitable clothing, bring your walking poles, drinking water and snacks, and protect yourself from the elements including sunscreen.
There are picnic tables at the railway station so you might like bring your lunch.
