Love nature and the birds around you🐦‍⬛, but struggle to remember their faces?
Found birdwatching events hard to join because you're just starting out🥲?
Feel fast-paced hikes feel a bit rushed🏃🏻, leaving you wishing for more time to take in the little things?

Good news🥳we’ve got something just for you!

Slow Bird Walk 🦜 is a gentle birdwatching experience where we take our time, observe closely🔎, and enjoy the moment. You’ll pick up simple tips to tell birds apart, remember their wonderfully tricky names, and discover a few fun facts along the way.
This is not a formal lesson. It is a relaxed meet and greet  with the neighbours who have been around us all along.

👤Who can join
This event is designed for participants with little to no bird identification experience. (If you're interested in a more advanced session, feel free to send Jeanne an email. If enough people are interested, we may plan one later.😉)
This event is suitable for participants aged 5 and above. Please note that children who prefer fast-paced or highly active experiences may not fully engage with the activity. Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult.

The route is wheelchair accessible. If you're joining us and need support, we're happy to assist.

🍎After the tour
We’ll have time to rest, enjoy some vegetarian snacks, and connect with others. Feel free to bring your own drinks and stay a while to soak in the peaceful lake surroundings and chat with fellow participants.

🧺What to bring
Remember to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. Binoculars and cameras are welcome (they’re helpful but not essential).  And most importantly, bring a curious mind and a joyful spirit.

👕What to wear
We recommend wearing neutral-coloured clothing to help with bird spotting. Closed footwear is required for comfort and safety.

🌞In case of bad weather
We’ll notify you by 6pm the day before if the event needs to be cancelled. Please check your email inbox for updates.

After registering, check your RSVP email for follow-up
You’ll find a link to the form, which includes a few important questions to help us prepare a smoother and more enjoyable experience for everyone.

See you there!
