The Australian Conservation Foundation Macnamara community are calling all ecological care bears, love bugs, warriors, and ninjas, to come together and clean-up the beautiful Westgate Park at Port Melbourne on Clean Up Australia Day 2021!
This is a unique native park in that it is so close to Melbourne city. While this park is a truly inspiring example of rehabilitation and the creation of healthy habitats within urban environments (over decades by volunteers!), it also a catchment area for human created litter!
Get your gloves on and join us for a clean-up along the Western boundary of Westgate Park along the Yarra River!

Getting there by bus
The Sunday bus service #237 - City - Fishermans Bend via Lorimer Street bus runs every 30 minutes from Little Collins St / Queen St (Melbourne City). Alight at the Sardine St/Lorimer St bus stop which is located on the Lorimer St /Sardine Street roundabout. Enter the park from this roundabout. The meeting location is approximately 60 metres into the park, close to where Westgate Bridge is overhead.
