Water is crucial to our lives in so many ways. Fundamentally, we need water for drinking and growing food, and wildlife need it for a their habitat.  Challenging supply and management issues in Australia are increasingly leading to water scarcity and conflict.  Whether you have lots of water or none, these issues affect us all, right now, and it is important we understand them so that we can make good decisions and have our informed voices heard.

FanForce, Friends of the Earth, and ACF Albury Wodonga Region Group are proudly hosting a screening of 'When the River Runs Dry'.  This is an extremely important, 52-minute film to understand the water issues in the Murray-Darling Basin.

'In January 2019, a viral video showed grown men near Menindee weeping as they held dead Murray Cod, decades old, which had perished in yet another environmental disaster. Two weeks later, it was forgotten. Who was to blame? And what could be done?'

Tickets are limited, so please RSVP and you will be sent details for how to purchase tickets.

ACF Community Albury Wodonga Region is part of a network of independently organised, volunteer-run groups in the ACF community. ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.
