The Albanese Government has said it’ll make the reckless decision to approve Woodside’s North West Shelf gas project in the Pilbara until 2070.

But this fight is far from over.

Woodside still needs gas from the nearby Browse basin – at Scott Reef – to keep its North West Shelf plant running beyond 2030. This is where we have a real shot. It's crucial that we build the power we need to stop polluting projects in WA.

That’s why we’re running this exciting people power training in Perth, next Saturday 7 June. The training is an introduction on how we bring our communities together, have powerful conversations and win hearts and minds.

The training will help you:

  • Inspire others to take action for climate and nature
  • Build strong local community groups of like-minded nature lovers that take meaningful action together
  • Have persuasive conversations to form new relationships or strengthen existing relationships
  • Respectfully handle objections and rejections when you’re chatting to people about climate and nature

The training will be run by Dan Scaysbrook, ACF Community Organising Manager. Dan has over 15 years experience in organising and campaigning across environmental organisations, unions and human rights organisations.

The training will run from 10am-2pm, covering a range of topics with lunch provided!!
