We are delighted to invite you to attend the official opening of ACF Boroondara's Wild At Art Showcase, which will show artworks by local children from ACF's Wild At Art 2024 competition.
Over 100 primary school-aged children submitted entries to last year's national competition, held by the Australian Conservation Foundation to celebrate Australia's wonderful flora and fauna. Each child created a picture of an endangered native animal or plant and wrote an accompanying description about their subject. We were amazed by the quality and variety of the artworks and guarantee you will be too!
The exhibition will be open at the Hawthorn Arts Centre from 12 March to 26 April. Please see the Boroondara Council event page for more information.
The official opening will take place on Saturday 22 March from 2-4pm. The federal MP for Kooyong, Dr Monique Ryan will open the exhibition, and we hope to see many of the artists and their families in attendance.
Come along and join us in celebrating Australia's unique wildlife and habitat, as well as the creative talents of local children. You will be inspired!
