Wherever you live, the stormwater from your garden ends up in the creeks and beyond.
Verge gardens are the very public, connecting space between private gardens and the largely hidden-from-view bushcare sites. They are a place where people connect with each other and with nature.
In this workshop, we'll explore the connections for nature and the connections within communities:
- how individuals and community groups can all work together around the activities of caring for our local environment
- how you can participate with an activity that suits your skills and interests, and fits into your life and other commitments
- how we can all be part of something bigger
