Victorians will be voting for a new state government in November. You can help to ensure climate action and nature protection are strengthened in the next Victorian Parliament.
Together with our friends at Lighter Footprints and Move Beyond Coal Kooyong, members of ACF Boroondara will be contributing to the Kooyong Climate Change Alliance's election campaigns in Kew and Hawthorn, and we'll need all the help you can give!
As in previous election campaigns, we will be:
- developing a Climate Scorecard - to letterbox to every dwelling in Kew and Hawthorn, and
- to hand out at polling centres (including at early voting and on election day);
- conducting street conversations and handing out information about climate action, native forest protection, and getting off gas;
- holding candidates' forums in Kew and Hawthorn;
- advertising and posting our messages on social media;
- ensuring climate and nature remain key policy areas that voters consider when they fill their ballot papers.
Please register your interest in helping with our election campaign, and one of our campaign organisers will contact you to see what activities you would like to help with. You do not need to have any particular expertise; we will find things that suit your interests and availability, and you can devote as much or as little time as works for you. Contributing to something important, with like-minded people, is satisfying and good fun!
Below are examples of scorecards developed for a previous election.

Looking forward to having you in our team,
