We all hoped that 2022 would be more normal but it hasn't quite worked out that way. So the Mad Hatter and Through the Looking Glass vibe continues to resonate.
It's time to catch up and celebrate all the things we have done together this year. It’s certainly been an action-packed period with two elections, the Platy project and guided nature walks. Members old and new are warmly invited to the ACF Chisholm Community holiday celebration, which will be a Mad Hatters Picnic at Blackburn Lake Sanctuary, Blackburn. Continuing the ‘tradition’ of recent years but with a new location and date.
Hats are essential for protection from Melbourne’s increasing heat, but they don’t have to be serious. Don your funniest, fanciest, or most fabulous hat for the event. As usual there will be prizes.
Bring something festive for lunch. The area has picnic tables and BBQs for those who wish to use them. It’s can be a popular spot so we suggest you bring along folding picnic chairs or a picnic blanket. Mid-week it shouldn't be a big issue.
Family/significant others are most welcome.
