Working together to respond to the climate challenge is our objective. We're running our first Climate Café, offering a safe and welcoming space where people can drop by to discuss their concerns and explore some answers to the challenge of a changing climate.
There are no more arguments about the reality of climate change so we want to provide a safe space for people to see how we can support each other as the changes impact our community.
People will be able to have a chat over a cuppa, with no pressure, and no expectations. We will look together at the good things that are happening, and be open to opportunities and actions that we can take.
This first Climate Café will be on Friday 5th December, from 3.30 – 5.30 pm. It will he held in the front meeting room, at the library, off Hargreaves Street, and feature a short video of Greta Thunberg speaking of the hope that emerges from action.
