See biodiversity differently
Biodiversity can feel like a huge and complex issue – species loss, habitat destruction, ecological decline and the many environmental, social and economic systems connected to them.
The Biodiversity Collage offers a different way in.
This hands-on, collaborative workshop uses a visual, card-based approach to help us explore how biodiversity works, what is driving its decline, and how human activity is connected to the changes we’re seeing around us.
Together, we’ll explore:
- what biodiversity really means – and why it matters
- what is driving biodiversity loss
- how environmental, social and economic systems are interconnected
- where human activity fits into the bigger picture
- and what this might mean for the choices and actions we can take
You don’t need a background in ecology or environmental science. No specialist knowledge is required – just curiosity, an open mind and a willingness to explore the bigger picture together.
Come along, get your hands on the cards, connect the dots and see biodiversity from a different perspective.
Places are limited and refreshments will be provided.
