To help make us an unstoppable force for nature, please join our efforts in the state Districts of Kew and Hawthorn over coming months. We'll be spreading messages about the importance of environmental protection and regeneration, and making sure voters have the information they need when they cast their vote.
ACF Boroondara is, once again, collaborating with our partners in the Kooyong Climate Change Alliance to ensure nature and climate protection policies are highlighted in the Victorian election campaign. We're kicking off this Saturday with community conversations in High St Kew.
We'll meet outside Kew Courthouse at 10.00 a.m., spend a couple of hours on the footpath around Toscano's, Bob Stewart's and Safeway, inviting passers-by to sign our petition asking Kew MP Jess Wilson to be a climate champion, then go to a nearby cafe to debrief over a cuppa.
No prior experience is necessary, and you will be well-supported, working alongside experienced volunteers. If you're unsure, just come along to watch and see what's involved.
