
On 19 November, ACF Hunter will show the film 'Coral's Last Stand' at the Charlestown Library meeting room at 6.30pm. This half hour documentary highlights the threat to the Scott Reef off north west Australia. Global corporation Woodside and its joint venture partners want to drill for gas and oil under the reef ecosystem.
After the film we will discuss recent aspects of the ACF's work, such as the legal challenge to the government's approval of the North West Shelf gas extension, and other local envionmental issues.
