This workshop is now sufficiently subscribed. No more RSVPs will be considered at this stage.
This two-hour workshop is an introduction to the philosophy and practices of Deep Ecology.
The workshop draws from the work of Joanna Macy and the contributions of John Seed, introducing the work that reconnects, group work designed to foster the desire and ability to take part in the healing of our world. The workshop goes through each of the four stages of "the Spiral": Coming from Gratitude, Honoring our Pain for the World, Seeing with New Eyes, and Going Forth. You will also learn about some practices you can do at home bringing Deep Ecology into your own life outside of the session.
The workshop is presented by Felicity Jefferson, a local clinical psychologist and climate activist who is the founder of What Can I do? Australia.
