Cleaning up our democracy and solving the climate and extinction crises go hand in hand.

That’s why the #OurDemocracy campaign – an alliance of civil society organisations led by ACF and the Australian Democracy Network – is putting the spotlight on political integrity in the lead up to the federal election.

We’re launching a national integrity survey to gather the public's attitudes on political donations, corruption and transparency in politics, and we want you to help develop the strategy at the local level.

Given Australians from all walks of life support popular reforms like capping political donations and establishing a strong federal integrity commission, this survey will reveal if politicians actions are out of step with the community’s values.

The results will create big media moments and give electorate-based evidence to pressure MPs and candidates from all parties to reveal exactly where they stand on integrity issues, and what they’ll do to ensure a fair democracy where everyone’s voice is heard.
