We will meet at Brickmakers Park, which has toilets and picnic facilities, to enjoy a quiet relaxing walk in the Scotchmans Creek Valley, Oakleigh, with the Eastern Rosellas ACF community group, and chat to others who care about our environment. After a short walk we will explore the Huntingdale Wetlands on Scotchmans Creek.
Huntingdale Wetlands offers a serene natural setting for observing local flora and fauna. The linear walking trail is dog-friendly, with abundant birdlife along the waterways. It provides diverse views and opportunities to see ducks and other wildlife. See how many birds you can spot around the wetlands and the creek valley. Learn how the wetlands improve water quality in the creek.
After the walk we hope you will be able to join us for snacks, a cuppa and a chat.
