This webinar has two parts: the first hour from 7-8pm is a welcome session for new people to dig into how to get mainstream media doing a better job reporting on the biggest challenge humanity has ever faced.
We'll cover:
- The strategy and why talking climate now matters
- Where we can most effectively #EndClimateSilence
- How to share your community's experiences and concerns
- Powerful tactics to intervene in news websites, Facebook and Twitter threads
During the second hour from 8-9pm, we'll do a deep dive into all things Twitter. The wonderful Bega-based volunteer Vivian Harris (@VivianHarris45) will share:
- Getting started using Twitter as an activist tool
- Some excellent tactics to boost the impact of your tweets
