How We Win Strong Nature Laws
Australia’s nature laws are broken. Our current system- the 25-year-old EPBC Act, hasn’t stopped deforestation, extinction, or habitat loss.
The Government have introduced legislation to update these laws, but they are not good enough.
This is the biggest reform to nature laws in a generation. Parliament has to get it right.
Now is our chance to have our voices heard and make submissions into the senate inquiry so that decision-makers are clear:
Australians are demanding laws that stop deforestation, address climate change, set strong standards and an independent regulator. It’s not too late to make sure this happens.
Join us to find out how you can make your own submission, and learn some tips on how to make it more persuasive.
