Then join us for an hour of flyering at the Ringwood Train Station in the federal electorate of Deakin, followed by a well deserved social coffee at a local cafe!
We'll be handing out flyers to advertise our next big event, our Deakin Candidates Forum. With the election happening so soon, the Candidates Forum will be an amazing opportunity for voters in the electorate of Deakin to hear from the candidates and ask questions. We want to give as many voters in Deakin the information they need to make an informed vote and will be handing out flyers to invite them to the forum. If we have time for a longer chat with folks, we'll also do the Community Pulse survey with them to understand their thoughts on climate and nature.
After about an hour of handing out flyers and having chats to commuters on their way to work, we'll head to a local cafe for a well deserved coffee and catch up. If you come volunteer, your coffee is on us!
If you've never been flyering before, have no fear. There'll be others with you the whole time and we'll learn together, and have some fun too. You don't have to be an expert or have had nay prior experience.
We promise you a very safe and welcoming space, and you will be part of a team at all times. It's a great way to not only make a difference in your community, but also a wonderful way to meet new people who are passionate about protecting our environment.
