The Glenferrie Festival is a popular community event held in the heart of Hawthorn every year. This year, ACF Boroondara will be holding a stall to provide passers-by with information about The Australian Conservation Foundation's priorities and campaigns, the need for stronger nature protection standards and policies, and opportunities for getting involved.
We are looking for supporters to help us staff the stall throughout the day. Can you help for a couple of hours?
We'll need a couple of people to help set-up the marquee and tables from 8.15 am, then groups of volunteers throughout the day to hand out information, chat to people who want to talk about nature protection, and sign up anyone who wants to join our group or get onto ACF's mailing list. A few people will be needed to dismantle the marquee and pack up the stall around 4.30pm.
It's always a very positive day, with a lot of community engagement. It's a great way for spreading our vital message about nature protection and a fun way to get to know some fellow volunteers. You will never be rostered on without an experienced volunteer, so no previous experience is necessary!
Please let us know if you can help, by registering for this event. We'll be in touch to find out what time(s) you prefer.
Looking forward to a fun day on 29 March!

Regards,
Julia
