With inspiring energy and determination, students are leading the way, challenging inaction that continues to harm climate, our planet and their futures. With great courage and vision, they are calling politicians to account, to stop further fossil fuel projects, to safeguard their futures, and all life on earth.
As fossil fuels cause continuing devastation to our climate and places we love, we agree with the urgency of our students' message. They are inviting all of us to stand with them and we will be honoured to be there, with these inspirational young people, and hope to see you there.
ACF Community Newcastle is part of a network of independently organised, volunteer-run groups in the ACF community. ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event. The Global #ClimateStrike is a student-led event with assistance from our allies Friends of the Earth and the Australian Youth Climate Coalition.
