We're joining people all around the country demanding that our MPs speak out against a billion dollars of public money going to a billionaire to build a coal mine!
We're meeting our MP for Jagajaga, Jenny Macklin, in her electorate office at 11am, Monday May 15th.
She is an ALP member, so we will be asking her to follow Wayne Swan's example and speak out against public money going to Adani.
If you want to make your views known to Ms Macklin, please come to our briefing at 10:20am. We'll discuss how we want to use the time and what we want to get out of the meeting, before walking to the electorate office. Ms Macklin's office has room for five of us, so if there are more of us than that we will select a delegation and make sure they know what others want said on their behalf.
