The massive Kooyong Votes Climate campaign for the federal election will lift off with the power of a Saturn rocket at this barnstorm event. Together, we will get Kooyongers voting 1 for our climate! We'll have Rod Quantock, comedy icon and climate protector legend, as our top draw MC and the dynamic Tim Lo Surdo energise the room.
The night will launch the plans of the Kooyong Climate Change Alliance, a collection of local groups working together to make this the climate election in Kooyong.
Our alliance is not going for any party or candidate – our campaign is to ask voters to put climate first – and to back who they think will be best for stopping disastrous climate damage. We'll be letterboxing, doorknocking, calling and having street conversations to get more on board and to vote to stop coal and Adani and go for clean energy.
We'll emphasise the clear, practical and high-impact ways you can get involved in the campaign. So if you are ready to put your shoulder to the wheel, join us!
