Special CLIMATE EMERGENCY Frydo Fryday

Friday 17 August 2018
05:00pm - 06:30pm
Josh Frydenberg electorate office and around Camberwell Junction
695 Burke Rd, Camberwell, VIC 3124, Australia

Special theme: CLIMATE EMERGENCY ACTION

It’s time to throw in everything we have and join together to protect our climate.

Fossil fuels are damaging our childrens’ future - coal is intergenerational theft.

We do have solutions - clean energy is cheaper than ever and ultra reliable now with storage. We can decarbonise, preserve our forests and look to draw down carbon. All we lack is political will.

Please come in your #StopAdani clothes – or black and red if you don't have any actual #StopAdani stuff. Bring siren sounds on your smart phones and emergency worker props.

Join the Kooyong Climate Change Alliance when we make some noise and have a little fun outside Frydenberg's electorate office and around Camberwell junction.

Show him and the people of Kooyong that we will act powerfully in solidarity to for climate action and to STOP ADANI’S DISASTROUS MINE.

There'll be speeches, chanting, singing and a march around Camberwell junction to tell Minister Frydenberg, the Coalition, all Federal politicians and the people of Kooyong that we stand with great majority of residents want clean energy now and we say no to Adani’s stinking great coal mine.

Once again see the AMAZING #DENYOSAURS SPECIAL APPEARANCE PLUS OTHER SURPRISE ATTRACTIONS.

Let's get creative! Bring your hand-made posters & placards. Let's make some serious street theatre! We will also supply placards and banners.

It will be on the third Friday of each month until we achieve victory! Please put them in your calendar.

We are getting National Campaign support to pressure Frydenberg. PLEASE JOIN US TO BOOST OUR NUMBERS! All welcome. Bring your friends and family. It will be a peaceful fun event.
