The next GREAT FRYDO FRIDAY

Friday 20 July 2018
05:00pm - 06:30pm
Outside Josh Frydenberg's electorate office
695 Burke Rd, Camberwell, VIC 3124, Australia
Get directions

Special theme: STOP ADANI’S MONSTER WATER GRAB

Adani plans to suck up 12.5 billion litres of free floodwater every year and onsell it to other miners for profit. No scrutiny please because obviously washing mined coal has absolutely nothing to do with mining coal, and should be exempt from the water trigger.

That didn’t wash with the StopAdani movement. After thousands and thousands of us emailed and called, Frydenberg called on Adani for more information. So this is just the right time to tell our Minister for Coal that we will stand up and protect precious groundwater.

So please come in your StopAdani gear – or black and red if you don't have any actual StopAdani stuff. Please also bring empty buckets for a special group photo shoot.

Come join the Kooyong Climate Change Alliance when AGAIN we make some noise and have a little fun outside Frydenberg's electorate office and around Camberwell junction.

frydo_friday.png

Show him and the people of Kooyong that we are legion and united in solidarity to STOP THIS DISASTROUS MINE.

There'll be speeches, chanting, singing with the Climate Chior and a march around Camberwell junction to tell Minister Frydenberg, the Coalition, all Federal politicians and the people of Kooyong that we stand with great majority of residents who don't want this stinking great coal mine.

Once again see the AMAZING DENY-O-SAURS SPECIAL APPEARANCE PLUS OTHER SURPRISE ATTRACTIONS.

Let's get creative! Bring your hand-made posters & placards. Let's make some serious street theatre! We will also supply placards and banners.

It will be on the third Friday of each month until we achieve victory! Please put them in your calendar.

PLEASE JOIN US TO BOOST OUR NUMBERS! All welcome. Bring your friends and family. It will be a peaceful fun event.
