THIS WILL BE A SPECIAL THEMED "FRYDO, GO FOR CLEAN ENERGY, NOT COAL" due to the upcoming COAG Energy Ministers' Meeting, which may well be in Melbourne.
So please come in clean energy dress - blue, green, yellow, with relevant logos or symbols - wind, sun - if you have them. Otherwise, the usual Stop Adani.
Come join the Kooyong Climate Change Alliance when AGAIN we make some noise and have a little fun outside Frydenberg's electorate office and around Camberwell junction.
Show him and the people of Kooyong that we are legion and united in solidarity to STOP THIS DISASTROUS MINE and GO FOR CLEAN ENERGY!
There'll be a National Campaign Update from ACF, speaker Jake Wishart from 350 Org, Pat Simons from Friends of the Earth, chanting, singing and a march around Camberwell junction to tell the Coalition, all the Energy Ministers and the people of Kooyong that we stand with great majority of residents who don't want this stinking great coal mine, WE WANT CLEAN ENERGY.
Let's get creative! Bring your hand-made posters & placards. Wear a fabulous clean energy costume and let's make some serious street theatre! We will also supply placards and banners.
It will be on the third Friday of each month until we achieve victory! Please put them in your calendar.
We are getting National Campaign support to pressure Frydenberg. All welcome. Bring your friends and family. It will be a peaceful fun event.
Stop Adani Kooyong is part of a network of independently organised, volunteer-run groups in the ACF community. ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event.
