ACF Supporters Australia-wide are taking their environment and climate concerns to Federal members.
A delegation of Makin ACF supporters will arrange to meet our elected member, Tony Zappia on the 10th of July. Please RSVP by the 8th of July if you'd like to join or contribute to this delegation so we can coordinate effectively.
These are some of the issues that ACF Community Adelaide has identified as a priority:
- ACF's concerns regarding the New Nature Laws (EPBC reform) and the associated National Environmental Standards.
- Reforms to the Safeguard Mechanism.
- Changes to the Diesel Tax Rebate and a Gas Export Tax.
- The contiued approval of new gas projects including with associated Fracking.
- Calls by the Conservation Council - 1% for nature and the 30 by 30 nature economics report.
