Northern Beaches wildflower and bushwalk - Sunday, 10 August

Sunday 10 August 2025
10:30am - 02:30pm
Slippery Dip track
27 Morgan Rd, Belrose, NSW 2085, Australia
Get directions

Hi,

Enjoy the wildflowers with us on a bushwalk near the Slippery Dip track on Sunday 10 August.

Our leader is Conny Harris, a dedicated environmentalist with encyclopaedic knowledge of our the local flora and fauna. Conny has worked tirelessly for over 25 years, organising and carrying out bush regeneration programs across our local area.

We start at the head of the fire trail on Morgan Road, then head down to the waterfall for lunch. This 7 kilometre walk will take a leisurely 3 hours.

Conny will help us discover the local flora - the wildflowers have started already and are magnificent. The catchment traverse is a spectacular walk and, as it’s still cool, the sunny exposure is also very nice.

When: Sunday, 10 August

Start: 10.30 am at Morgan Rd x Slippery Dip track

End: 2.30pm at Deep Creek

Where: Morgan Rd x Slippery Dip track , near 27 Morgan Rd. See Google Maps here.

Alternatively, for those who come from the Pittwater end, you may leave your car at Deep Creek (10.10am) and we’ll carpool to the start on Morgan Rd. See here on Google Maps.

What to bring: Water; sunscreen; lunch.

Walk difficulty: Easy - medium

Feel free to share with your friends and family on the Northern Beaches as well!

We look forward to seeing you there!
