If you're keen to have impact, connect with like-minded nature lovers and climate champions, and have some fun along the way, come to this Persuasive Conversation training!

  • 9am - 11am: We'll run through a simple training on how to have impactful conversations and connect with your community, before discussing how this skill can be implemented effectively using our survey on climate and nature issues, the Community Pulse.

OPTIONAL Community conversations in Hawthorn to practise what we've learned – there’s no better way to learn than jumping right in!

  • 11am - 12.30pm: We'll go door-to-door to have conversations and give out flyers & yardsigns in the federal electorate of Kooyong.
  • 12.30 - 1pm: And at the end of our doorknocking session, we'll regroup and have a quick debrief to share our learnings.

By the end of our session, we will have both made an impact and also heard what this community thinks about nature protection, climate change, renewable energy and more.

We promise you a very safe and welcoming space, and you will be with an experienced 'buddy' volunteer at all times. It's a great way to not only make a difference in your community, but also a wonderful way to meet new people who are passionate about protecting our environment.

You'll also get a yard sign, sticker pack, and colourful campaign t-shirt to keep!

So please do join us, spread the word and bring your friends, too. Whether you are coming with pals or by yourself, we promise to make you feel very welcome.

Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or activist, or you're brand new to our community, there'll be something for everyone. Come along!

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch. We can't wait to meet you!
