UPDATE - PETER KHALIL'S OFFICE HAS CHANGED THE TIME - SEE BELOW
We're joining people all around the country demanding that our MPs speak out against a billion dollars of public money going to a billionaire to build a coal mine!
We're meeting our MP Peter Khalil in his electorate office at the new time of 3:30pm, Thursday May 18th.
He is an ALP member, so we will be asking him to follow Wayne Swan's example and speak out against public money going to Adani.
If you want to make your views known to Mr Khalil, please come to our briefing at 2:50pm. We'll discuss how we want to use the time and what we want to get out of the meeting, before walking to the electorate office. Mr Khalil's office has room for four or five of us, so if there are more of us than that we will select a delegation and make sure they know what others want said on their behalf.
Zaatar Cafe is one minute's walk from Mr Khalil's electorate office, and there is plenty of car parking nearby in the shopping centre.
