Saving Scott Reef, a unique, magical place off the coast of Western Australia, from Woodside's proposal to drill for gas nearby will require a large-scale movement not just in Greater Western Sydney but all over Australia to put pressure on the federal government to reject Woodside's proposal.
Following our screening of the beautiful film Corals' Last Stand with members of over 30 climate and environment groups from throughout Australia in attendance, we will be meeting online on 11 August at 7.30pm to talk about ways in which our different groups can work together on this issue and engage people and communities who have not previously engaged much with the climate and environment movement.
We would love to see you on the 11th - the more ideas we have, the better. It doesn't matter if you or members of your group didn't attend the film screening. We will be able to very quickly bring you up to speed. And what we talk about will be very useful for all issues and all campaigns.
