Join ACF Melbourne NXNW and ACF Inner Melbourne creekside for an evening finding out how to look for platypus and whether we can see any in this stretch of the Merri. We might also spot one of the local rakali (native water rat) families. And we'll learn how to assess the area for platypus habitat to give ecologists a clearer picture of where platypus currently are (or are not).
This event is family friendly and would suit children aged six and above. Please dress for the weather, and wear sturdy shoes and warm clothes. Torches and binoculars are also recommended.
