Her on-the-ground insights are invaluable to understanding how important and transformative climate solutions can be for communities all over our great state.

WWF-Australia Great Barrier Reef Program Manager Ariane Wilkinson. Ariane has led major wins for the environment with Environmental Justice Australia and the Environmental Defenders Office. Ariane will speak about climate damage and the urgent action our communities must take in order to save the Great Barrier Reef.

Youth Verdict Co-Director Murrawah Maroochy Johnson. Youth Verdict is working to highlight the impact of climate change on First Nation Peoples' human and cultural rights, objecting to Clive Palmer's Waratah Coal mine using the QLD Human Rights Act 2019 in the Land Court of Queensland. It is the first time that the cultural rights of First Nations People have been centred in an objection to a new coal mine in Queensland.
