Labor has just unveiled the long-awaited 2035 emissions reduction target.
Their target of 62% to 70% isn’t enough to keep Australians safe.
This weak target puts every Australian at risk. It falls dangerously short of what is required and leaves Australian families exposed to more fires, floods and heatwave.
Labor must stop making the climate crisis worse and phase out coal and gas.
The Australian Youth Climate Coalition (AYCC) is hosting snap rallies across the country to say Labor is sleeping on climate. Join ACF, AYCC and local grassroots groups at your local action and stand up for climate!
The message is 'Labor is asleep on climate' - so come dressed in your pajamas, dressing gown or eye mask!
Together we can tell our government that enough is enough - the time is now to take action for future generations.
