This is your invitation to join ACF Community Chisholm at the Global Climate Strike!

If you would enjoy some company on the journey travel with the friendly ACF Chisholm Community Group on Friday 20 September.

Where and when

We have a range of ways for you to meet us, depending on what is most convenient:

  • By train: We will be meeting up in the second last carriage of the 12:25 train from Ringwood train station, the 12:35 from Blackburn station, the 12:40 from Box Hill station, and the 12:42 from Mont Albert station. Join at your most convenient station. Contact Liz Reen 0419 748 319
  • In the city: If you would rather meet us in the city, we'll meet at 1:20 pm on the North west Corner of Spring and Flinders St. Look for the signs saying ACF Chisholm! Contact Mitzi Tuke 0438 017 963

This massive, student-led movement is building power around the world, and the students are asking all of us to stand with them on 20 September for a day of high-impact global action.

We know that people in our neighbourhood want to see climate action, so we’ll be attending the strike as a Chisholm contingent. By attending the strike together, we’ll share this critical moment while building relationships with other locals and chatting more about what can be done in our own area.

Some people love a rally, relishing the chance to exercise their democratic rights. Others find even the thought of a rally quite stressful, yet find the idea of inaction on climate so much more stressful they're considering joining the crowds. If you're in the latter camp, meet up with us and let’s go in together!

Join us to make sure that our community is represented in standing with the student strikers.

ACF Community Chisholm is part of a network of independently organised, volunteer-run groups in the ACF community. ACF will pass on your contact details to the host for the purpose of running the event. The Global #ClimateStrike is a student-led event with assistance from our allies Friends of the Earth and the Australian Youth Climate Coalition.
