Legendary ACT Snake Removal Professor Gavin Smith will be joining us at the Ainslie Volcanics Grasslands this Sunday to talk about snakes in our Grasslands, what to look out for and how to safely work in their habitat. Gavin will talk from 9.30-10.15 am.
Gavin is a social ecologist, specialising in human-wildlife interaction in urban environments. He is one of Canberra’s most renowned snake catch-and-release experts, as well as the Head of the School of Sociology and the ANU.
