* IMPORTANT NOTICE
We have to unexpectedly change our plans for the stall at South Melbourne Markets this Saturday 22 October. The Markets contacted us late yesterday to let us know they have to temporarily relocate the community stall to an outside area on Cecil Street. Having checked the weather for this weekend, it looks like fairly constant rain, and we don’t feel comfortable asking you to volunteer on a cold and windy day with no proper shelter. We also don’t think it will be the best use of our time collectively, given the less-than-ideal set-up.
So we have made the difficult decision to postpone our stall for this weekend. :(
However, we do have a Plan B!

Letterbox dropping this Saturday, 22 Oct: If you are still keen to take action (even in wet weather) this Saturday, Mauricio is planning on doing some letterbox dropping from 10am-12pm in the South Melbourne area. If you want to help with this, please reply to this email to let Mauricio know, or text him on 0432 467 190. The group will be meeting up outside at Proper & Son cafe in the South Melbourne Market, doing a couple of hours letterbox dropping nearby, and then having a coffee together to finish.

Thanks so much everyone. We are really disappointed to cancel this weekend, but it’s been so heartening to have so many passionate people put their hands up to get involved. So we really hope to see you at a stall either on the 29th of October or 5th November.
