Join us for a screening of Takayna, an inspiring and hopeful film about the battle to defend Takayna from mining and logging. Hosted by ACF Community Mornington in conjunction with the Bob Brown Foundation, this powerful documentary takes you on a journey through the vast and threatened landscapes of Australia’s largest temperate rainforest in northwest Lutruwita (Tasmania).
Through the power of personal stories, you’ll experience the beauty and significance of this extraordinary region. This area, known as Takayna/Tarkine, is one of the last wild places on earth.
