Join ACF Community Geelong as we hold a peaceful and positive vigil for our Earth.
We'll be signing get-well soon cards for the Earth, and we'll have activities for kids, including decorating a giant get-well-soon-Earth card, which we'll drop in to Deputy PM Richard Marles after our vigil.
Speakers will include:
- Julie Saylor-Briggs, a Torres Strait Islander woman born on Wadawurrung country and raised in the local First Nations community;
- Local musician Lachie Chomley, playing his new single "The change has begun".
Please bring placards with messages such as "Labor - no more coal and gas", "Protect our children's future", "Fossil fuels hurt or health", "Coal and gas are making our Earth sick"
