ACF is partnering with the National Zoo & Aquarium to hold a Wild At Art day at the zoo on Saturday 11 July! Wild At Art is Australia's biggest threatened species art competition for kids. Submissions open 22 June to 10 August.
At our interactive arts & crafts marquee at the zoo, as a volunteer you'll be speaking to kids & parents about Wild At Art, pointing them in the direction of Australian endangered species that they can see at the zoo, and helping them make beautiful artworks about these animals or do some colouring in.
It'll be a fun and interactive day where you'll get to have great chats with a lot of kids & adults who care about nature, and direct them in how to take action to protect it!
Please choose your preferred shift when you RSVP. You are welcome to stay longer than your shift to help out if you want, and to look around at the zoo! All volunteers will need a current Working With Children Check (free to sign up online for volunteers).
