Are you passionate about nature and love chatting with people? We’re on the lookout for a volunteer to help us with our communications at the ACF Community Macnamara Group (ACFCM). You'll engage with our awesome members and the public through Facebook, Instagram, Slack, and our member network, SupporterBase. Just a heads up: this is an unpaid volunteer gig!
About the Role:
As our Volunteer Communications Organiser, you’ll keep everyone in the loop by sharing news, events, and updates. You’ll also get to use SupporterBase, which is super user-friendly, to send out SMS and email updates, manage call lists, publish events, and track how we’re doing.
What You Need:
- Great writing skills and a knack for connecting with the community
- A love for nature and environmental issues
- Basic know-how with social media or communication tools

About Us
ACF Macnamara is one of 42 community groups across Australia, linked with the national ACF. We’ve been around since September 2017, focusing on local issues and campaigns in the Macnamara area, which includes Port Melbourne, Albert Park, St Kilda, and the nearby suburbs.
