Gas companies are expanding projects that will lock in decades of pollution, and the government’s support isn’t accidental. It is a result of deep complicity with the gas industry. Right now, gas companies still operate with a social licence they don’t deserve, and if we don’t move quickly to strip that away, these projects will be locked in for decades.
Imagine a WA where politicians standing next to a gas company CEO is seen as bad taste, and where our Fremantle Dockers and WA Nippers aren’t covered in advertising from companies destroying our natural environment.
