World renowned forest ecologist Professor David Lindenmayer will speak about Natural Asset Farming: a new approach to improving the integration of biodiversity conservation and agricultural production on farms. There will be new insights on ways to improve the quality of plantings, shelterbelts, farm dams and other natural assets on farms, based on the past 24 years of detailed field-based empirical monitoring data on farms. Anyone with a plot of land to care for, tiny or large, will gain deep insight into the ways we can support nature in our own backyards.
