Right now, the pressure on Woolies to do right by people and planet and cut ties with the BCA has never been higher!
Last week, the ACF community left thousands of comments on Woolies and Coles’ Facebook pages demanding they leave the BCA. And just shy of 50,000 people have now signed an open letter asking for the exact same thing.
The Business Council of Australia (BCA) has undermined Australia's climate policy for the past decade.
But without the power of its biggest member brands like Woolies, the BCA's power to influence decision makers in Canberra will be severely weakened.
The Woolies AGM is coming up soon. This is perfect timing to follow through on all our momentum and put Woolies’ ties to the BCA and big coal firmly on the agenda.
As a Woolies shareholder, you have a unique opportunity to join us at the AGM to raise questions about Woolies’ BCA ties and hand-deliver the open letter to the Board of Directors – in front of the company’s most important stakeholders.
RSVP now and we'll give you a call to run through what the AGM will be like and answer any questions you have!
