Join ACF and Conservation Council SA for a Q&A with frontline Traditional Owners impacted by gas expansion and climate change, alongside ACF CEO Adam Bandt.

Grab a drink, listen to inspiring speakers and learn how we can work together to send a strong message to our government and climate polluters to stop gas expansion and start phasing out fossil fuels now!

This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from Traditional Owners who have travelled all the way from NSW and the NT to share their stories.

Meet the speakers:

  • Uncle Jack Green (Garrawa Senior Elder, NT) will be speaking about the decades he has spent fighting for environmental justice in the NT and his concerns about Santos’ Beetaloo fracking plans.
  • Karra Kinchela (Gomeroi Traditional Owner, NSW) will be sharing her determined fight to protect Country and stop the Santos Narrabri Gas project.
  • Joseph Kena'e Ka'au (PNG) will be travelling all the way from PNG to share the concerns of local communities about Santos’ Papua LNG project.
  • Adam Bandt (ACF CEO) will explain why we need to hold climate wreckers to account and phase out fossil fuels now.

Peter Rawlinson Conservation Award Winner Jack Green will also display some of his artworks, which will be available for sale.

There are only 100 seats available + standing room. We hope to see you there!

PS. Stay on afterwards to catch ARIA Award winning musician William Crighton’s album tour (7.30pm after the Q & A). Tickets are available on Moshtix.

By registering your RSVP to this event, you give permission to ACF to provide your name to the joint organisers (Conservation Council SA). ACF will not disclose any other information provided by you or stored by ACF.

Don't forget to also join the rally outside the Santos AGM on Thursday 16 April, 9am to send a strong message - no new gas!
